This is my project that embarked on a few months ago and thought i would share the progress.

i will add photos too the thread as i go on.

these photos are taken in the order that i did the components.

The internals of my personal 30.cal

Barrel boss with brass fastener

Reciver taped together to give me a general idea of fit

Trigger filed to shape

Side plates after riveting

Top latch plate for lid

All welded and fettled

Top cover held open by my trusty assistant......(shhhh dnt tell him i said that its my boss)

smaller tripod as to make it more usable within airsoft

(Rear sight not yet fastend in position)

some of the eagle eyed viewers may have spotted i have more the one guns worth of bits so there will be a few for sale.

Looks amazing.. How much has it cost you? And what internals does/will it use?

looks brilliant mate keep us posted. bet it weighs a tonne, wont envy you lugging that beast round all day!

thanks, its going to use the m14 internals, and its not as heavy as might think
