broken gun

hi gents, fairly new to airsoft went out and got myself a cyma m14ebr. very happy with it until earlier:

test firing gun suddenly stopped firing. trigger clicks but nothing else happens. ive tried changing batteries as assumed this was the cause. any suggestions on how to figure out whats wrong?

there is probably a similar post elsewhere but i couldnt find it.

any advice welcome (except bin it as its cheap rubbish   )

both batteries charged?

tried switching to full auto and see if that fixes it?

check the fuse hasn't blown?

check the motor connections.

thanks Mightyjebus, just checked the fuse andf it looks okay, got a different set of batteries charging, taken the fire selector off ready to up the fps on it and in the middle of following a strip down guide to check the cionnections...fingers crossed (better not be 2 sets of completely drained batteries or i will look a right tit )

quick update...trigger mechanism was jamming so mo contact...freed it up works again for now. thanks for your help
