Hi again beginner needing advice again.does anyone recomend the bison 701 dragunov sniper rifle or is it a bag of sh*t.im torn between buying the w700 or this as my back garden sniper rifle all comments greatly appreciated.

better of with the w700 the shells are very fun to use for plinking and it has quite good accuracy and range for the price

Was hoping someone was going to say that thanks mate

Wait... Bison is a submachine gun, while Dragunov is a designated marksman rifle. Or am I mistaken??

Your right but there is also an airsoft brand called Bison...

On topic it depends, if its for back yard plinking then yes its probably personal choice.

If your planning on upgrading and skirmishing later on then your probably better looking at an L96 platform or a VSR10 just because upgrade parts are easier to find.

Split between the two I personally would pick the W700. The shell ejection may get annoying later but finding a cheap realistic scope for the Dragunov is almost impossible and your almost certain to spend more on the scope than the gun

pp19 bizon is an smg, bison (with an s) is a airsoft manufacturer, I'd go for the w700 as said because I like the look of the w700 in Twotone, I think the svd looks cheap in my opinion, I'm sure the w700 would work better as well. Shells for added fun/realism! :-) never used either of them though so I dunno if my opinion is valid..

defo w700 for the extra £10-£15 pound better accuracy and looks better

I'm struggling to find one with the bottom and top rails as I cannot afford the version with bipod and a scope at the minute as I've been on the sick all year

Tbh mate, I often just lean my bar 10 sniper rifle on a table or box or something outside that's the right height when shooting targets.

Like your way of thinking mate I do need one with a top rail unless u can buy a top rail you u can moun on somehow maybe? To the w700

I've used them both, and I'd personally I would recommend the bison simply because of the incredible power and ability to use heavy ammo, and also that my w700 broke within six months...

BTW a friend of mine somehow managed to glue a scope to the top rail and has hit people at 150 feet in the back of the neck whilst standing... ...I only believed it because it was me who suffered the humiliation of getting nailed by a sixty quid gun

I'm loving the feedback coming from the dragunov but people realy seem to struggle to get a scope on and that's something I'm keen to do straight away
