ares dsr-1 gas sniper rifle

Just wanted to ask people about this particular gas powered sniper is it worth it or is it not ???

Probably not tbh.

It's Ares and a bit unusual, so I'd wager that replacement parts aren't readily available.

I love gas bolt action rifles and own 4 gas bolt action rifles myself (KJW m700, KJW m700 in an m40 kit, Tanaka m700 and PPS Kar98k)...

and I wouldn't touch this with a 10ft stick. Ares guns tend to look really nice, but perform like utter crap and with this platform I have no idea what upgrade parts are available as I suspect a lot of it is proprietary, as well as magazine availability and how good they are as good quality magazines are very important for gas bolt actions. In short, I'd avoid it.
