Hi guys what’s the best battery’s to get for my Tm as I’m getting it re wired to deans eventually.  Just wondering what battery’s you guys use.

I use Kong power battery’s from FireSupport for my  CQBR. But I use Rhino/Turnigy batteries from Hobby King in my TM Scar:

Hobby king are quality batteries at very good prices.

Can't go wrong with Turnigy or Turnigy Nanos...

Surprisingly there's actually only about 4 factories that make Lipos and they're all in China. So many brands are likely to have come from the same factory and been rewrapped. Or a 25% chance anyway...

Vapex

Kong power

Nuprol (probably the only thing id suggest of nuprol)

Giant power

Turnigy

How do you get on with this in the cqb mate. Fits okay in the stock ?

Thank you guys, will look at these batteries turnigy seems popular

I'm just about to go lipo to so interesting reading all the replies.

I'd be normally happy to stick with my 9.6 NiMH but new stock has zero space for a nunchuck style so need to go smaller.

Not to hijack the post BUT what lipo chargers do people use/recommend. Most I've seen are quite pricey.

It's a clone of the V1 b6. So use paypal so you can send it back if it's a dud.

Other than that watch it like a hawk for the first couple of charges to make sure it doesn't get too hot and it cuts off at the correct voltage.

There are hundreds of clones out there, a lot of people don't even realise their clones.

I can't advise you to pick it up or avoid tho. You know what it is, and buy it knowing the risks.

It's also the stock B6 and uses a power brick, rather than the inbuilt design.

The stock needs slight modification with a file to allow the batteries to fit perfectly. It’s ever so slight.

I use the 1200Mah sticks because that’s about all that fits.

I got these as its a very good deal:

https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/kong-power-74v-1300mah-20c-lipo-rechargeable-battery-stick-packdeans-2-packs

To replace any standard NiMH battery (even 9.6v), get 7.4v LiPo.  Do not get 11.1v

The mAh, get highest you can fit.

...and convert to DEANS (Read up on it.  Not that hard to do.  Reduces resistance so helps battery life while reducing heat build-up)
Blood Hell ! Fire support having something at a good price ! Not something you see every day ! ?

Think that’s a very good deal .?

Yeah exactly
