Battery question

Hi all. I'm a complete newbe here. My sons friend very kindly gave him a black viper bb gun ...an old one of theirs but he has no battery. Model number is B4817. Can anyone advise what battery / charger he should get and where to get it

Welcome.

Any 7.4v battery with the correct connector, that fits in compartment will do.

Post a pic of the connector and the battery compartment (in the stock) in the Electric Gun help section and someone will help.

Lucky indeed.

As Dan pointed out, any 7.4v LiPo is good.  Look for the highest mAh that will fit in the battery space. (Usually around 1200mAh)

The connector may need to be changed depending what the gun has. (Probably a clear one called mini-Tamiya)

You'll also need a LiPo charger.

Look in those shops and also try a search for 'Li-Po charger'
