what batteries are people using in their TM HK416d?

i can't find any of the SOPMOD batteries in stock any where, what are some alternatives?

General consensus is that the SOPMOD is useless and overpriced, and needs replacing. There are several topics about this and TM 416 upgrades.

I binned my SOPMOD battery and had the connector rewired for Deans, and fit a single 7.4V LiPo (1300mAh 20C) down one side tube.

Exactly as above, I have soldered wires and a deans connector onto the rails in the stock and use 7.4v LiPo batteries.  The SOPMOD batteries are horrendously overpriced for what they are.
