This is my first AEG, arrived today. Apologies if I'm asking a stupid question!
When I opened the box there was a little rattle in the hand guard and a spring and a spring guide fell out.
It looks like it is for the cover to the hop up adjuster as this is stuck open and wont close with the charging bolt.
Just looking to see if this is an easy fix, and something I could look to realisticly fix without needing a tech?
I'd rather not send it back unless I really need to.

You spring features at 6:35. It's not too hard to install but I've no idea how it's popped out. If that's a brand-new RIF I'd be sending it back rather than disassembling it.

You risk losing your warrenty if you disassemble the gun. Maybe have a chat with the retailer about it and check everything else with the gun before calling.

I didn’t think about the warranty aspect.
I’ll contact the retailer once I’m home this afternoon.
Unfortunately my battery hasn’t arrived (I forgot to add it to my basket when buying the RIF) so can’t test anything further.
