Ares Amoeba guns vs hop up chambers

I have 2 Amoeba guns, one is flat hopped (stock amoeba hop unit, prommy purple bucking and modified modify flat nub), the other has a madbull hop with prommy purple nub and ics bucking..

The madbull unit jams. A lot. Like every bb jams into the chamber.

I also have a Retro Arms cnc hop unit, but it seems to not be compatible with the Amoeba guns (huge ass fps drop).

Should I ditch the madbull unit and buy another stock hop up (the original one broke) or try to fit the retro arms?

I think you've answered your own question there! Get another standard unit.

Ordered a new standard unit from my local shop.

It's sad though because I really like the quality of the retro arms..

It could be CNC'd from a block of diamond, if it doesn't work in that gun it may as well be a lump of cheese.

Installed the stock unit, now it doesn't feed BBs in full auto.

Top-f*cking-kek.

I'll play a bit with it today and see if I can fix the problem.

Any suggestions?
