Hi guys

I've got a brand new krytac CRB. All I've done it changed the connections to deans because the original connections are crap! Anyhow I've plugged an 11.1v 20c lipo in and the gun double fires every time I'm semi and eventually locks up. To unlock it I out the gun into auto and it's fine again.

First things first can this double feed/ lock up damage my gun internally?

Secondly does anyone have any idea why this is happening ...? Id rather it not double fire to be honest

This is a brand new gun can I say brought in the UK

Well the uk version comes with a weaker spring and a 20k motor instead of the us version 30k motor, there is 2 things you can do, upgrade the motor to the 30k (about £80) or dont use the 11.1v lipo as it is too hot, i would yost use a 7.4v lipo (thats what i use and it is perfect)

It will damage or make your parts worn alot quicker than normal shooting.

It's because your spring is too weak, either lower the voltage of the battery or use a harder rated spring.

No disrespect but if double feeding on the 20k then changing to the 30k will make it worse.

But yup to second point, switch to a 7.4v LiPo or maybe to a lower C 11.1v

My PDW ran fine with a 30k motor and 11.1v LiPo at 350fps (and even better at 450fps) because it required a stronger spring to get that 350+ fps. Your CRB has a longer barrel so has a weaker spring which when paired with the 11.1v LiPo you are using causes the well reported overspin found on low fps Krytacs.

If you like the snappiness of the 11.1v then you could piggyback a burst wizard mosfet (I know the kong 2 works) and program in a delay but that masks the issue rather than fixes it. Lower voltage or stronger spring or lower C rating 11.1v LiPo.
