Do all aeg guns use any type of batteries. such as an aeg using a 9.6v or an 7.4v?

What is the difference?

And if one battery offers higher power why doesn't everybody go for a higher voltage battery?

Depends on gun, motor and if a MOSFET is used

You can hit 30 on a 7.4v or 40 rps on a 7.4v DSG

Have heard people reach 45rps on 7.4v but that is really really going some

Lipo's pi$$ over nimah's but only available in 7.4 11.1 or crazy 14.8v

LiFe batteries are at 9.9v but don't quite pack same punch as lipo imho.

Nimah's in 7.2 8.4 9.6 10.8 or 12v are OK but old skool and seem to die we quicker or at least lose charge quicker

But end of day use what you have to hand

Though know this:

S/hand nimah's often can be on their way out for holding their charge imho

so lips are the best batteries? And why is it bad having a 14.8v battery, isn't it better if its high powered?

And overall what would you say the best airsoft battery is (brand and model)?

Well for one 7.4v is usually cheaper and smaller as 2 cells are easier to squeeze into what limited room you have

Zippy compact from hobbyking are great but are the block style batteries - YOU have to measure what room you have.

Turnigy are also well respected along with Vapex

But end of day you have to use/but what battery will fit

Measure carefully make up a dummy to double check if it will fit blah blah blah etc....

You will be amazed how little juice you really do need

A good neodym motor, MOSFET deans etc... Will unleash hell compared to stock stuff fitted in your gun

Uhm ergh don't try that at home viewers...

Yes it improves rof but it self destructs very quickly

7.4v 25c lipo.

Which type depends on your gun as there are lots of shapes and sizes.

Stick to Turnigy, Vapex or Kong power brands and you will be ok.

If you got a $hit stock ferrite motor you need more juice to get to 20rps.

Neodym motor 7.4v lipo can hit 20+ quite easily if done properly

Actually 30 on 12:1 gears - think I've been through all this

Plus big battery needs more space etc...

Nimah's suck imho
