A&k PK Pistol grip

Hi everyone,

I decided to get the AKs big brother so ordered an A&k PK machine gun and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them and if the wooden pistol grip can be swapped with a standard AK polymer pistol grip?

You'll need a real steel AK pistol grip screw (Or something of the same length) to change it out unless you're replacing the grip with the polymer PKM pistol grip from A&K. Source: I've got a bakelite AK pistol grip on my PKM

Edit: I haven't actually tried an AEG AK pistol grip on the A&K PK family, let me know and I can try it for you

Yeah, I bought a GHK grip and screw from MLEMart as it was cheaper than a real screw over here. It went straight on with no issues, just be mindful that the AK grips are thinner/smaller than a real PKM grip

I just don't like the wooden grip and have a spare cyma AK pistol grip floating about I was going to throw onto it... And running a PK means no need to worry about extra magazines as it holds 5k in the box

You'll need to bore your pistol grip hole out if you're using an AEG grip as the PKM grip hole is larger in diameter I think. I can check for definite on my PKP tomorrow morning if you want

If you could that would be great... Hopefully the PK will arrive before NYE... Then I just need to find a tagin grenade adaptor for the Rpg7 I have....
