Having a clear out (Again) found these.

They seem to be sold out everywhere and I've been out of the loop too long to know if these are particuarly sought after anymore!

Cheers

Might be a tough sell as most sites that allow Tag rounds have banned impacts.
Fair, I'll put them up anyway, I've no doubt the old milsim lot still allow them somewhere ?

Stirling and Defiant don't.

You might find someone that wants to use them for theatrical video content I suppose. "Watch me spend £x in 30 seconds" ?

Just based off common sense hoping to avoid such an incident. It's one thing being hit with a Tag round, a whole other thing if it detonates on impact. Tags should be safe to use as long as people obey the safety rules - shoot at 45 degrees, indirect fire etc so they lose a lot of energy on the drop but there are morons out there...

What exactly are they? They look like huge riot control rubber bullets.

Pyro, bang and a flash at impact, weigh 25g according to my kitchen scales, made out of some sort of foam by the feel of them.

Oooh i see. Do they need a special launcher or any 40mm one?

I think you had/have two choices.

The Launcher Tag Innovations made that fired them, because the projectiles are 36mm it would only shoot those and nothing else.

Or any 40mm Launcher, combined with the Tag shells. You could load the projectiles into the shells and shoot like you would any other moscart type Launcher.

I assume this was based off a series of incidents, not just a singular yank wearing insufficient face protection gets a nose bleed? ?

His goggles were knocked off his face or smashed, as I recall.  EN166F glasses (which may be another argument, given that they're not even rated for sniper energy BBs) would have no chance.

Why wait to learn from your own injuries when someone else has already bled for the lesson? ?‍♂️

having seen tag impacts go off, i am not keen to be, nor see, them hitting a human target.

timed ones, maybe there's an argument, but exploding (potentially) on your face? that's a hard nope.
