I'm looking at repairing a CA M16 and an old Japanese record deck.   I ought to get a decent crimp tool, instead of bodging connections with pliers and solder. I need to go down to 0.25mm wiring I believe.  Any recommendations?

At about the seven minute mark, there is a short sequence of a Polish militia training with airsoft rifs.    Cool airsoft mortars, MKVs, and poor hit taking at 7:49.   Bit like a day at a local site.

I believe that there are two types of side mounts.  One type fitting SVDs that is lower than the standard AK mount.  Is this correct?   I have a few side mounts kicking about but if a lower mount is available I would appreciate knowing.  If I mount a rifle eyes closed I am usually looking at...

Anyone any thoughts on the Double Bell 001B AKM? I remember them as a budget/shit brand.  The new stuff looks pretty good, but then it would in the press. I'm after a steel and wood AKM, and there's bugger all about.  

Are these worth getting?  I resent being asked £15 plus postage for a ZCI unit until AK2M4 gets some stock in.  Then again I'd not begrudge the extra if the SHS unit is crap.   I particularly like the way the ZCI doesn't shift when adjusted.  

I picked up a Nuprol M4 today as part of a deal.  No use for it to be honest, although it's a tidy rif with a decent rate of fire in nice condition.  I'd guess that it would make a nice gun for a beginner.  Anyone know the value posted second hand?

Anyone recommend a site within a couple of hours drive of Glencoe?   We are staying there in October, and will be equipped with two young nieces who would love to play their first games of airsoft.  A slower paced woodland site would be preferable.
