Funny you should mention the ICS Ape - I've got one in bits for a team mate where the gearbox decided to eat the piston!

Try not to get too carried away, this hobby can get expensive pretty fast ? just seen you're in the North East, I might pay that site a visit when I'm up to see my parents at some point, they're just down the road in Durham!

    Mosquitos. Evil.

+1 for Jungle Formula here -  I used to do Dragon Boating and in the summer evenings the mossies on the river were ravenous and used to attack our legs especially. I sprayed them with JF which stinks and they didn't come near me. Pretty costly, but definitely works.

I think that's more a case of improvise, adapt and overcome! ?

    What Pistol would you recommend?

As others have said, just go with what you like the look of, but don't discount he second hand market. I got a TM PX4, with 4 mags and its awesome, its a chunky side arm and looks cool, nicely different to a glock or hicapa

    Daves custom airsoft

Placed my first order with Dave and thoroughly impressed. Firstly I saw the item I wanted but it only had 1 in stock. I've been caught out before that (phantom stock) so messaged Dave on Facebook quickly to make sure. He replied instantly, I put the order through on the website and quite...

ASG Armalite M15 with custom paint

Hi mate, As others have said, it's pretty solid for a first RIF - not a lot to go wrong. The gearbox is a Classic Army and when I had it apart it was built ok. Definitely go for that model as a more "budget" model, not sure what that more expensive one is. With some minor upgrades it's...

    Gunfire (Poland) / gun-fire.co.uk

They finally have a notice up on their website about delayed shipping which is a step in the right direction.

    Gunfire (Poland) / gun-fire.co.uk

Update again - I've been keeping up with the thread on the UKAC Facebook group and there's a lot of people having the same issues I did - my PayPal request is through, gave it a few days of sending messages and have now escalated it to PayPal. PayPal didn't even question it and are awaiting...

I'll definitely be switching to these guys rather than GF - I ordered a few small parts from them a while back and got accurate order process emails, and shipping was bang on time (I think even quicker than they estimated)

    Gunfire (Poland) / gun-fire.co.uk

Good (in a way) to know others are seeing the same issues as me. I also received the same email about the move of warehouse. Received over the weekend: I think based on others having the same issue, I'm going to put the Paypal refund request through now.

    Gunfire (Poland) / gun-fire.co.uk

Placed my first order with these guys last Thursday and its been stuck at the Order Processing stage since then. I've sent a chase email. I did note they had a bank holiday on the 3rd so could be playing catchup with orders so I've given them the benefit of a doubt so far. My UKARA was...

    cheaters (rant)

Now that might be a better idea, might explain why the three players in a corridor directly in front of didn't get hit once by a full pistol mag, time to aim for the shins instead of centre mass! ?

    cheaters (rant)

Just playing a bit of devil's advocate here, but could it be the amount of gear people wear they simply don't feel/hear some hits? I run relatively light so I feel hits on my arms and legs easily, and a hit on my vest if it catches a mag is easy to hear - and a shot on the lid makes one hell of...

ASG Armalite M15 with custom paint

Love it or hate it, this is my paint job on my M15. First go at spray painting a camo, I was inspired by The Division. My ASG is now running a reduced spring for 330fps on 0.2, madbull 6.03 barrel and hop unit and I've just grabbed some Turnigy lipos too. The RIF started out as a two-tone...

Doing our bit for the environment and the argument for bio BBs

Ease up on the meme trolling there guys  ^_^ I certainly won't be getting all preachy to other players, that's not my style. If you want to stick with plastic BBs, that's fine - I'll encourage others to switch, but I won't go around with a sign shouting "REPENT PLASTIC SINNERS!" or switching...

Doing our bit for the environment and the argument for bio BBs

This can be true as some makes of Bio BB leave a chalk style residue due to the coating, I was aware of this before we bought some. Easy solution? Clean your barrel after every game day and develop a habit of caring for your equipment. Then your kit will last longer and work better.

Doing our bit for the environment and the argument for bio BBs

Great examples there, Valken, G&G, Madbull - these are big names producing high quality, biodegradable rounds. Even tracer ones too.  According to a listing on Patrol Base, they're tested by TUV Rheinland - https://www.tuv.com/united-kingdom/en/ - and looking at the table, 15 degrees...

Doing our bit for the environment and the argument for bio BBs

Ok, counter point - would you be happy to walk into a local park and dump a load of plastic bottles, bags and lego pieces, then stamp them into the ground and leave? If the same analogy is given to an airsoft site, it runs for a number of years then the business stops trading. You're left with a...
