Jing Gong G3 SG1 - downgrade spring specs

The JG blurb says it's 510mm. http://www.taiwangun.com/en/electric/jg098-jg?from=listing&campaign-id=19 As for the SAS, the previous owner but a tight bore barrel and a 1j spring. The Pepsi can chrono from 20 feet reads 2 sides(just), but not top or bottom. I'm slowly going to rebuild...

Jing Gong G3 SG1 - downgrade spring specs

No it's not the RAS its the SG1. I totally missed the free downgrade option and already had the "can't change order" when I wrote the posting. I've got a TM G3 SAS that alledgely shoots too hot for cqb, 340fps, not had that on the chrono yet to confirm. So perhaps i'll put the spring from...

Jing Gong G3 SG1 - downgrade spring specs

hi, placed an order for one of these last night from Taiwangun, they are reduced at a price at the moment. Now if this gun is anything like the specs say it is, 418fps out of the box, it's going to be over the top for my intended battlefield skirmish site which says 350fps for full auto...

Lengthy postage or am i being daft

Sounds a tad shadey. Even 2nd class parcel shouldn't take this long assuming your both on uk mainland. The fact they weren't willing to show you proof of postage/tracking would have me reaching for the PayPal claims page.

    Bolle attack goggles

just bought a pair of Bolle Tracker II's, as my ancient "ski" type goggles look out of place these days, and you can't get down on a scope in them. got a set of mesh ones, but i dont trust them. .86g at 390fps = 6.08 joules so they should be ok for airsofting. UK Airsoft established at 1.3...

    Player ages

Know what you mean about the really the small ones, there is always that little voice in your head "Finish him!" Average age I would guess for a skirmish probably somewhere around 30. I'm nearly 50 now, just come back to it after a 10 year break.

    I flipping hate AEGs

if it was screeching or making any noise in "Safe" i'd be very worried!!!! try loosening the gear box screws a 1/4 to 1/2 turn, that'll tell you if it is shimmed too tight.

Why are airsoft RIFs under the UKARA act, but airguns not?

nope, is that a police helicopter that keeps flying over your place??? And no deadheading the neighbour's roses or gnomes with it.

Why are airsoft RIFs under the UKARA act, but airguns not?

Well you do need to be a dick to take one out in public and not expect to chewing tarmac or leaking the crimson in short order. I don't even like having mine on the bench with out pulling the curtains so Joe public can't look through the window.

Why are airsoft RIFs under the UKARA act, but airguns not?

yes a valid point, though you're not likely to be buying an air-rifle RIF from a "toy shop", yes I used the T word toy (let the flaming commence). Airsoft guns are classed as toys. We all have to remember it's not an offence to own a RIF, it's an offence to act like a dick with one in...

UKARA site with range enough to get registration?

The rules are a bit discriminatory against people with disabilities you cant really expect them to play the required games in full. Can't exactly navigate a wheelchair or frame around a woodland site, or even most CQB sites either. So that part of the community is basically barred from...

    DENTrinity

Searching through some of my old airsoft stuff I came across a link for dentrinity in Hong Kong and though the site is still live it looks a bit out of date. Does anyone know if they are still trading?

RiF UKARA -- Ruining my enjoyment

Yes. Drew quite often comes off as being rude, very rude or even obnoxious. It's not entirely his own fault, he is very high functioning autistic. Everything in his world needs to be perfect, if a gun is supposed to be black, then it has to be black. A two tone weapon is just wrong in his eyes...

Why are airsoft RIFs under the UKARA act, but airguns not?

the one US bird strike test states a 4lb bird at 400mph. so that equates to a 1800g bb at 586 fps, giving you a power rating of 28712 joules. it's rubbish for CQB and the reloading is a complete bugger......

Why are airsoft RIFs under the UKARA act, but airguns not?

But it's not a rif, air rifle is an actual firearm and comes under different laws. You don't have to be ejecting brass to be a firearm. Hell, if you fire frozen chickens out a drainpipe over a certain joulege it's a firearm.

Owning and buying are not the same thing.
