    TM Glock 17 gen5 mos

What's the deal with the sights? Do they require different slide, or are they a drop in fit on the stock gun? Link?

    TM Glock 17 gen5 mos

Having had a quick shoot with this back to back against the Gen 4, everything just feels a little tighter on the 5th Gen. How much of that is down to it being brand new is a fair question, but the 4th Gen has only been gamed about 5 or 6 times. Trigger feels better, racking is more positive...

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

I went into a shop and... accidentally a TM Gen 5 Glock. I blame @JimFromHorsham.

The most economical source of gas

I tend to just pick up a bottle of propane (400g) for about £15 from screwfix as it's just down the road. If I forget/run out it tends to be more expensive for less on site. Marginally less faff though. You pays your money...

    Wolverine MTW 308

Literally just finished watching their Facebook feed and had a similar "oooh, interesting" response. Technically probably identical to the AR15 version (perhaps bigger mags?), but would at least add some variety. At least some time to start saving...

Depends on the areas and the game modes, much like Worthing. You can make it work in the right circumstances, but there is a lot of rapid advancing and cover in small areas that makes either a DMR or a 1J no MED a better option. They do also tend to play a trench game in the afternoon which is...

    G&G gear box

Is the motor wired up the right way round? If you've got it wired wrong it'll try to spin backwards and the ARL will stop the gears turning. This might also be the case if you're using a battery with a tamiya connector since the wiring on them is sometimes odd - double check.

Warhead 27k short shaft. I need convincing...

Depends why you want it really. They're great for turning over any spring, getting the most out of batteries, etc. I've not had any issues running 27k on 7.4v, but depends how many RPS you "need". The only point worth noting (other than worrying about soldering wires onto an expensive motor so...

    TM Glock 17 gen5 mos

Have been eyeing these myself, despite having a Gen 4. Hyperdouraku did a decent write up.  Apparently 20% more gas capacity due to new magazines with different internals (not just orange follower) as well as a stronger kick from redesigned BBU.   Video with more details and test firing too...

    TM MP5 NGRS Owners

Yeah, I fancy a solid stock version, but it doesn't seem sensible dropping £500 on an almost identical gun to the one I already have just for that. Probably better to await the inevitable solid stock MP5SD and pick one of those up so I can swap front ends over. Mag prices have actually come...

    Delta-ring delete

The front triangle's normally held on with pins, so there shouldn't be any structural reason you can't do it. Could either just pick a free float rail that's shorter than your front sight, or one of the ones that has a cutout - e.g...

    Cyma G36 - worth upgrading?

Because otherwise the motor shaft spins the grub screw the first time you pull the trigger and it instantly violently adjusts the motor height, jamming it into the gears and seizing everything up. Apparently. Not that I've ever done this...

This video might be worth a watch if you haven't already seen it, covering some of the potential weaknesses/upgrade options (easy HPA and box mag conversion as well as hop mods). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxwj6QbtjU4

    Lightweight AEG Recommendations

No love for the G36? Picked up a TM one (non-recoil) recently, and it's ridiculously light, especially if you ditch the unnecessary rails/handstop (which is inexplicably made of pot metal). Okay, marginally heavier than the MP5K, but probably more capable in the field.

Aug double trigger doodad and a MOSFET walk into a bar....

So if it's like the TM, it will look like the attached. Essentially the box is in permanent semi auto because it's got a cut off lever, but no fire selector plate on the side of the gearbox to hold it out of the way. To get round this, they have the second external set of contacts you can see...

G36's are the classic, but I've also seen sites running very short M4 variants. You can keep track of the rentals through the noise, and the short barrels presumably make it harder for them to snap/bend/fill them with mud.

    Baofeng Radios

I've used the 9R's but not the 5's, so I'm at the other end of that comparison. They seem to work ok, usual deal with needing to program them, CHIRP works fine for doing so and saving the image for future use/programming multiple devices. In terms of power I'm lead to believe that any wattage...
