Fair points. However you don't seem to understand the law. There is no law against buying a RIF – correct. The law states a RIF "cannot be sold" to someone without a defence. The people liable to prosecution are the sellers. Retailers need a safe system otherwise they lose their business, period.

How well versed are you with the law and how it affects retailers? Retailers will not like what you suggest. Just to get it perfectly accurate; a buyer needs a defence for a seller to be able to legally sell that item. These recommendations provide a decent foundation that people can rely on –...

I would apologise but that would also be an admission of making a mistake.

Eugh, It took you to quote that for me to actually understand it – that's actually quite an astute point Longshot. I really need to get the website done so I can list suggestions like this.

I think you are being purposely obtuse now! lol I read your reply twice and I'm sitting here screwing my face thinking " I shouldn't have to reply or defend this" as your opinion is wild. Think about what you are actually scratching at here. We have to have means as to quantify and qualify a...

Right, yeah you make a perfect point. Remember the fact that it's an alternate to UKARA doesn't even have to be better, just an alternate in it's rawest form. People will welcome a quicker system even without the extra tech! We've had plenty of smaller sites contact us too. I realise you're...

No, [redacted], I'm not being obtuse but I am being tested by someone who can't take a bloody straight answer! lol Yes – we think it is the best recommendation. We're not having name calling. We will discuss this politely or not at all - Ian_Gere

I think most of your points are coming from misunderstanding. The tangible benefit is digitising common processes – it allows for a mostly automatic beginning to end process, saves time and thus money. Sites will also be able to do a lot with this data should they choose to, such as in depth data...

I dont see the point you're making. As I have mentioned previously, yes, as it is a good recommendation. Are you saying we should ride closer to the 'law'? The problem is, is that it's far from perfect and very grey – we wouldn't want to bring unhealthy attention towards us like that. Either...

Estimates at this point? Nah. With the utmost of respect, this actually isn't an issue or something that can be improved upon so I'm not sure where this is going.. :/ Fifty sites uploading a 12 kb spreadsheet at the same time won't be an issue. The database updates will be queued.

Doing it wrong? lol Perhaps its the QR code being data intensive, yeah. It's still the wrong way round though. Sites scan, players stand there. There's no current advantage to switching to QR codes as the tech to read barcodes is currently more efficient – speed is key and not something...

You've got this all a little twisted buddy. It's a good recommendation. It tests authenticity of new Airsoft players – more so than without it. We will use it because it's responsible, unless you can think of something better.

If I had a penny for everytime people underestimated the team!!! We do this stuff for a day job so we know what's best Swoop, we're not using someone's PC for christs sakes! I will get Dave to talk about server tech, if you like – you'll regret it! Everyone is banging on about how useful a...

Hey guys thanks for all the feedback! The one thing I will not shortlist as a possibility unfortunately, is QR codes. It's a failed system, a gimmick in my personal opinion and experience. And never, ever reliable. Relying on someones camera phone is not acceptable. The actual time it takes to...

Hi Dev! I'm currently 'managing' the project if you will, so I thought I'd try and address your concerns. Usually there are quite a lot of people that end up getting paid to produce such systems, luckily we are these people in the week which means we will do this work for free as its only our...

    FAB Defense Gear Giveaway

Hey guys, thought we would let you lovely lot know that we are giving away some real steel gear – the FAB Defense PTK Foregrip and the VTS thumb stop kit. In my opinion FAB Defense's gear supasses that of Magpul in terms of design and quality! We've revieved them over at Airsoft Operator if you...

    Daily Mirror article

I really wouldn't take this to heart at all. My neighbor works for the Daily Sport and he's quite open about how these sorts of papers make up the vast majority of their stories or at least exaggerate them to the point where it makes it 'story worthy'.
