Ed mentioned in a Facebook post that someone was using metal BBs...
Someone please tell me this wasn't true D:
heard the rumours, as did some of friends in field. they did check people with pistol not sure if they found anything.
brilliant weekend besides this.
loved it if you re going to go see if you can get some friends to go with.

i'm safe for birthdays well except mother in law
-
I have solar shower, wilko (£5 or so) I am taking that.
my friend just asked about showers and thought I should check.
-
this is the drone I was talking about, when you exchange from $ its about £622.
takes about 2-3 weeks to get past customs
-
ok so 3000 packs of baby wipes
-
but by filming more often then not you would be closing in on a player even with zoom, which would make the shoot shaky.
-
would they be considered legit target if they are used by enemy to spot position.

A friend of mine was looking to start a business recording weddings and celebrations with a drone camera .. and this got me thinking .. wouldn't this make a cool idea for Airsoft .. recording skirmish days or firefights from a drone camera .. it would give game days a new perspective for videos and pictures .. obviously the operator would have to be neutral so not to ruin games by calling out player/team locations but from a cameraman's view it would open up the game days and give way to some exciting footage I think ..
The US Sells a camera drone called a Phantom 2 , the price is a lot .. but I am sure there could be cheaper versions available in the UK.
Interesting idea .. or talking rubbish ?
I am familiar with the issues of drone use and commercial flying .. not sure on the UK stance however.
we have one at my work place for one of our clients boy toys weekend. I will have a look at price, its from US via amazon and I think comes with camera.

anyone know if they have showers, I have been told no on other sites.
-
It would be cool to meet some of you guys.
I will be there with my friends, our first time.
-
Down side I have to rent upside I don't have to worry about battery, unless I get a dud.
With some luck I will find my RIF I want and buy it onsite.
-
Would have to its not been well advertised.
If I had known about it may still have gone NAE.
I think I have looked I to going to play here with few friends just because of MOD village hey if it's open once a month might have a lol then

I use Bolle Tracker 2 goggles, not had any problem and just played a game at bunker 51 in London. Saw a few people fogged up.
Good thing is if you want you can take the foam padding off as it clips in, they also do prescription lenses for them so I was told.
Not expensive goggles at all tried mesh found it horrid and dark.
Bunker 51 very hot CQB site.
Downside I sweat a lot and the lenses coated in it.

Could have got the shirt, smock and trousers for £25. Well worth bookmarking that site.
I can still cancel it, which is handy have you ordered from that site, usual questions are they any good and is the kit as sold.
the kit I have on order is "brand new"

try www.airsoftmap.net for nearest site and stores.
Don't always go cheap on things look at player reviews (not just bad ones).
when you go to site if you see a gun you might be interested in ask the own if you can have a look most will let you and show anything that troubles them with it.
I did and found a few of the RIF I was looking at felt strange to me.

he does seem to find a lot of upset people where ever he plays....
sure I have seen him play CQB and lay about 20 rounds into some guy then moan "he is not taking hits" slam some more into him.
people do need time to react to being hit but laying 500 BB into them is foul play.

I loved it, my friends that came with enjoyed it think they may take u airsoft with me.
ok you get some Teflon don's but where don't you.
next year I will be back with my own rifle, little more accurate and power to get past the leaf 3ft in front of me.
overall marshal done a good job(some bad points), the game play and area were big and well worth taking it slow.
comms are a must in opinion. .
only dealing I had with marshal was after team mate was shot in face from 1m or so away by a sniper who had been shot at least 10 times by myself already, sniper shot him as he jumped past him and proceeded to shoot the next guy in face also but this time about 4meter away, then turn to me a further 3-4Meter away and shoot me in face. fair play to sniper he was accurate but first team mate hit in ear and didn't realise until sniper start calling out "take your hit" he thought it was twigs from bush he had jumped into.
team mate only went to have word with him about swearing or telling to take hit, then I said it was a sniper he got kind of upset and went for seconds.
marshal arrived and sent sniper back to base and then told us to go back about 5 meter and then go again.
fairly well handled as it could have gone bad very quickly due to sniper being an idiot for a few seconds and kills.
