Serviced and updated my umg v3 gearbox but noticed my motor moves in the cage. How do you stop that happening?

Yeah this is what I'm using currently. http://airlab.parts/products/sorbothane-pad-70d-hardness But I have heard about using washers before. Just brought 25 of them £3.99

I used a airlab sobo pad I remove it and put the stock rubber back on and see if it was fine. Cheers for your help. I do some more pics tonight.

Do you think with spring in it will compress a little.

Testing my sobo pad I got from airlabs does this look right or do I need to do some adjustments?

Cheers Samurai so it sounds like I over shimmed it. What if the bushing turn with gears?

Hi All, New to teching shimming my gearbox don't know where I draw a line. My bevel gear I believe is shimmed right. It don't move up and down and moves when pushed. But my problem is should is spin completely around or just move slightly. I don't want to so it too tight. If I move .1mm it becomes lose and the bushing moves.

Sweet thanks. What about spring I heard people say m110 then some say m90 it fires currently at around 310fps on .2s I thought a 110 spring would be for Fps not for speed. Any other gochta I got go watch for?

I'm redoing my gearbox new to teching understand the principles. But can't find a basic guise to ROF and bits required. I keep find things that contradict each other. So I'm basicly asking what should be I looking at buying high torque motor, 11.1v lipo, mosfet. But what gearset / do I need a delay chip. What do delay chips do? Any help or links to guides would be great. Use I used the search feature and unless you know what to look for its useless. Luke

Agree Trojan that don't make much sense.. I was asking for a link to the mosfet and whether I got to strip the whole gearbox... now I got both answers... sorry for any misunderstanding.

Not really helpful the only page i found looked a bit iffy hence why I asked the question for the link. As per your second comment how has that got anything to do with my soldering skill which is fine btw.... I was simply asking as most videos you see the box stripped.

You guys have a link??? I worked on gearboxs do you gave to strip it all out to fit or can you leave everything in situ.

What lipo did you use as I'm unsure which one would fit...size would be good... What voltage / ampage as well

Mosfet help think about doing this to my G and G ump currently there is no inline fuse g and g don't fit them by default to this gun so i want one that acts like a fuse and thinking on switching to lipo 7.4 what does people run / recommend and where to buy... cheers
