  1. Just to update this post, I picked up a pair of Guard Dog Evader 2s for the time being, fit nicely over my glasses and don't fog *too* bad. I've added a picture showing that they're impressively low profile to fit over glasses, but for me goggles are not the preferred option for general comfort. Still looking at a pair of Bollé raiders, or maybe some ESS Crossbows with the gasket. I've considered options such as the Revision Sawfly Max as the insert fits all different Revision goggles (bullet ant etc) but would like the full seal. If anyone has tried those combos I'd love to hear.
  2. Yes, purchase is regulated by the VCRA and UKARA, ownership isn't. You can legally own a RIF, given as a gift from a parent etc. That being said, there must be no exchange of funds or material. It is a gift, as in a birthday present etc.
  3. Tokyo Marui USP, plastic slide but super consistent
  4. G36s are a tough one where most are *okay* but non are amazing. JGs are incredibly cheap and will never break, but their stock hop up is ehh and their body is cheap (Cyma is a similar story) Classic Army has an amazing body but their internals like to strip. Ares are solid enough, but have some proprietary stuff, easy to find parts though (by extension specna) G&G is solid, again a nice body but have funky compatibility issues with magazines (TM spec though) WE AEGs I've heard are good, but not 100% on details. ICS ones are good too, but they're not exactly a G36 Iirc there's a few other brands out there but not too common these days (src etc)
  5. When you are registered with the UKARA (Not a licence) you will have a valid defence With a valid defence such as UKARA, you can modify the IF into an RIF. Some will tell you depending on their interpretation of the law, there are other defences too beyond UKARA although UKARA is well established and has precedent in law. With the 'defence' you're still guilty of the offence, but you have a 'defence' to commit it haha. Take a read of section 36 and section 37 of the VCRA 2006, iirc there's been a few things more recently to supplement what's there, but it basically tells you everything you need to know
  6. Hi all, got back into airsoft after a few years out and been looking at getting a new set of rx inserts for my eyepro. Years ago I got a pair of Bolle X800s with the rx inserts but never got on with them, the insert never sat in the goggles nicely, pressing into my forehead, and was too close to my eyes so would dirty them by blinking aha. I recently got a pair of Bolle Trackers 2s, they're super comfy; but even these with the inserts have a similar problem; I have a moderately high prescription (+4.5) and I already feel my eyelashes rubbing against them with the demo lens, i'd have to pay the extra for thin lenses and might end up with the same issue again! I know it's a common question but wondering what others have tried? I've seen a pair of the X1000 RXs for sale, might be worth a try; can easily use EXFog or whatever with that too Just to add, i've tried contacts but I can only get the Monthly ones, and never found too comfortable so doesn't work out for me sadly
  7. Hi, never seen one of these for sale so unsure what it is worth... It is a Cybergun P226 X5 boxed with a removable compensator, the front sight is damage with a small bit being snapped off that keeps it on the gun (it was like an upside down T but is now a 7) but still stays on well, it is also a little worn on the paint on high stress areas, It has not been used skirmishing, only target shooting really. Pics http://imgur.com/a/AaSeO Thanks
  8. What assault vest are you running? As said, if you don't use the correct loadout it doesn't really matter. KSK loadouts are expensive anyway. I'm using a P226 with my FSLK200 (old KSK) loadout atm.
  9. Look at ESS goggles on Ebay, make sure they are real! Specifically the V12 Advancers, Turbofans and ICE Glasses, keep in mind that military's round the world use ESS goggles!
  10. Hi, i recently got this WE Big Bird And it was functioning fine until today, when i pull the slide back the 'nozzle' doesn't go back every time and doesn't cock the hammer, when this 'nozzle' doesn't move back it also fouls the ejection port cover and prevents the slide from returning to its place. This occurs when shooting also. Any ideas? (I'll upload a video later)
