For Sale: Specna Arms M249 (Rebranded A&K)
Up for grabs is a solid-performing Specna Arms M249, which is a rebranded A&K model. The gun runs great—I’ve taken care of some common issues to make sure it’s field-ready.
Upgrades & Modifications:
• Magazine Wiring: The box mag is wired into the gun’s electrical system, so it only feeds when you pull the trigger—no more constant whirring. A resistor has been added, making it safe to run on both 7.4v and 11.1v without risk of burning out the motor. Spade connectors have been installed for easy disconnection if needed. You’ll just need to give it a quick prime with a couple of bursts when you first start.
• Gearbox Upgrade: The bevel gear has been replaced with a CNC SHS gear, a known weak point on these models when running sustained fire.
• Inner Barrel & Hop-up: Fitted with a XT 380mm 6.02mm tightbore barrel and a 50° Maple Leaf bucking. It can hop 0.36g BBs, but it’s best optimized for 0.28g—perfect for auto burst fire.
Performance:
• Shooting at 1.1J, so it’s site-legal everywhere.
• Consistent, straight shots all day long.
• Can provide firing videos on request.
If you’re looking for a reliable support weapon that’s ready to hit the field, this is a great deal. Grab yourself a bargain!
