hi all, i got a 1911 for christmas but straight out of the box the slide would not fully rack, looking at the barrel i noticed the guide rod stuck inside. i've tried taking off the slide but it won,t reach far enough back for me to reach the release, any help with this would be greatly appreciated, thanks
