  1. I bought the last one of these in UK stock... https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-nano-tech-1000mah-3s-20-40c-lipo-airsoft-pack-t-connector.html I did want to get two, but thought I'd grab it as it was the only one! Cheers
  2. Where do you guys get your Turnigy batteries from?... I'm not having much luck! I'd ideally like to get as close a size as possible to my existing ones at approx: 100x20x16 as that's a tight enough fit as it is! Cheers
  3. I have an RC car which uses a 4s (14.8v 6500Mah 75/150c) Onyx battery, with a Sky T200 charger. I'd been advised by the chap at Onyx who I bought the battery from to do a "storage" charge for the battery after use when putting it away when not in use for a while. I believe the (T200) charger puts each cell voltage to 3.8v for "storage". And then, when I want to use the battery, charge it to 4.2v per cell. Now, I also have much smaller Lipos for my airsoft aegs: Nuprol 3s 11.1v 1100Mah 20c. I carried out the same charging/storage charging procedure as above (but for 3s), but at some point one of these has gone "poop" ie. It's gone fat and squishy! I've also been advised that I should fully charge these airsoft Lipos before putting them away. So, I'm confused, what's the correct procedure(s) for charging/storage?... as I've been given differing advice! Cheers

  5. Many thanks for taking the time to write your reply; very much appreciated 🙂👍
  6. I do like the idea of building my own, but wouldn't know where to start!... Would I pick up a second hand gun and upgrade/modify? If so, what would be a good donor gun for quality, realistic externals? And then, which parts to upgrade, what brands to use, and where to source? Also, where to source the lightweight parts you eluded to? It sounds good, but to me it also sounds complicated?!.. Any help/guidance/advice gratefully received! Cheers
  7. I'm looking for recommendation please for a short (7-8" ish) M4 type rifle. Must be good quality and as lightweight as possible too. I don't want a folding stock; I'd like to fit a Magpul CTR. M-Lok would be nice, but not essential. I've found a few whilst searching online, but don't know much about them, so I'd welcome advice on those and any other suggestions please. 8. Great service from the very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful Kris and Andy at A2 Supplies Located outside of Reading on an industrial unit providing easier "out-of-town" access and decent parking. If you're in the area get yourself down there - always nicer (imho) if possible to see and know what you're spending your hard-earned on! Cheers wadsy PS. I have no affiliation with this business, just a regular punter providing honest feedback on my experience.
  9. Thanks for the replies chaps 👍
  10. I'm contemplating either of these two... Any thoughts on: if one or the other of the VFC MP5-PDW or the GHK AKS-74u is more fun to shoot than the other? In videos I've watched, the AK action looked more "lively" or aggressive which I liked the look of! Also, if I went for the AK, I'd like to add a vertical front grip; what parts would I need to do this? (upper/lower guard+grip) and, if possible a suitable supplier?... UK if possible. Cheers
