  1. Firstly you're exaggerating, by no means did I 'piss all over' his post. I left criticism that referred to other examples for sale at much lesser prices and told him where he can find them. I know this because I had been after a WE SVD for some time, and am now the owner of two of them. My most recent one came with a replica PSO scope, 5 mags, upgraded barrel and hop rubber, posted to me for the £360 asking price. This example had been sat for sale for a month. Perhaps now you can see what motivated me to leave what is inarguably valid criticism of the original £800 asking price of the example in question. I think it's pretty nuts that you have the ability to edit people's posts without their consent or even notifying them, making no mention of this in 'the rules' that you point to. Speaking of said rules, I reckon you should have a quick re-read of them. -Be constructive: 'If you have something to say, PM it to the seller' Yanno, instead of spending 10 years sniggering about people's posts in this thread without 90% of them knowing lol.
  2. Upon request, I'm posting this here, less so because of the price and more because of the bizarre way this was dealt with. My post was neither off-topic nor 'significantly non-constructive'. Actually pretty weirded out by the fact that moderators can edit your own posts without your knowledge (only saw that my message had been edited when returning to the post), that seems like quite the violation as I'm sure most of you would agree. The seller only saw the edited message and was understandably confused. So what did I do wrong? Give fair criticism in a place where both the seller and a potential buyer can judge for themselves? You tell me.
  3. I’m not sure actually, none of the photos are clear enough to see, but you may be correct. There is a possibility that it is a different, cheapish brand.
  4. The folding stock latch is shallow on a CYMA, the pins are flat as well, and the pretend selector lever scratch is really thick on the CYMAs that have them, and thin on LCTs. The two other pictures I shared show the differences between an LCT and CYMA. First pic LCT, second a CYMA. There’s other differences of course, the wooden handguard will be different etc.
  5. I was at first interested in buying this gun until I realised that it’s most likely a CYMA base, and definitely not an LCT. I had mentioned this to the seller, but they seemed rather disinterested despite the large price difference between the two brands. I’m posting this as the gun has since sold, and most likely to someone who may not be able to tell the difference. If anyone knows the person that has bought this gun, please inform them that the gun is NOT an LCT base. I’ve added some examples below that show the main giveaways.
