  1. Thanks for all your suggestions and warnings, I think I will look into getting the Warrior smoke pouch for now. Although I never knew kydex was so easy to craft with, this sounds real interesting. I like the idea of easy grab and perhaps tie off the pin on the kydex so i can throw one handed. What about the Warrior 40mm grenade pouch, I like this because the lack of clip looks better for single hand use, anyone know if these dimensions would be similar to the smoke pouch?
  2. Most people use vests because they are cheaper lighter, cooler in summer and typically have more attachment points. I like PC's for the roleplay tho and am a fanboy for 'Warrior Assault Systems' equipment, their plate carriers are real steel and quite reasonable, although slightly more than your budget. If you can stretch your budget grab a DCS or Recon, they do bundle deals with all pouches etc for maybe £30-40 over your budget in any color. Heres the multicam page. Alternatively you could get the Novritsch ASPC platecarrier designed for airsoft with better ventallaiton but again a similar price as the Warrior PC's but without pouches. Otherwise I guess do what others have said and use ebay or secondhand sites like AirsoftHub (paying with paypal product or service).
  3. Im looking at purchasing some 'SWAT VTG' Timed BFG's. Im hoping to find a pouch or holder that will fit each one snug, hopfully attach my my cumberbund on my platecarrier (idealy somehting like this). The site doesnt have dimensions, my goto place for pouches/webbing is Warrior Assualt Systems...their grenade pouches dont have dimensions. I contacted 'SWAT' and they simply said fits fine in a M4 pouch. I want somthing a lil more snug and fit to purpose. Has anyone else got dimensions? Would a 'Warrior Assualt System' greande pouch be too small? Has anyone found a good grenade pouch or pouch that fits these grenades snug?
  4. @Terry_Rist Thanks for the heads up that makes me a little more cofnident gambling with the purchases and fitting the low profile reciver. If it does fit , Im still not certain that the hop inside the Krytac low profile upper reciever is propiertry or p90 standard, and wether the Novritsh hop unit will fit in the low proflile receiver, anyone know? I have no experience with either, but believed the base body of the Novrisch and the Krytac were so similar they could be from the same factory. Have you tried/held a Novritsch? What makes the Krytac reciever/stock so much nicer?
  5. The new Krytac Low-profile modular reciever which is part of the Krytac Alpine P90 (image included below), is now being sold seperately. I have contacted Krytac about compatability and they said they had not attempted to fit on other non Krytac products. Im very keen to pair this with the Novritsch SSR90, as this has better internal parts, and I believe the same, if not very similar externals... but compatability feels like a gamble. Has anyone else got a better idea if this will be compatible?
  6. Exactly this... I'm wanting to prevent the chance of a shoot out as much as possible, just my luck it would be the first hit of the day and I dont have a spare optic or want to carry excess weight. ARD Protection: I was hoping to find a killflash/ARD that fits in order to have the secondary function of preventing glare and reflections. Threaded Fitting: Although I do have one of these on my torches...they just tightly grip on the end (dont realy want to wear away the end of the scope), I was hopping to find something that would make use of the threads and screw on to the end of the scope. Sizing: This ebay listing appears to be the only option, I notced they has vortex crossfire (gen1 and 2) as an option, but doesn't display the objective lens/bell size. @alxndrhll Dont suppose you purchased the vortex crossfire lens protection from the link you provded, you know what size it is? I'm finding it odd that such a popular and well built scope doesn't have a variety of accessories (manufacturer or 3rd party made) readily available. At this point im tempted to just bodge it and tape the oversized nuprol killflash to the end.
  7. Looking for Killflash / ARD or Lexan Protection for Lens on my new rifle scope. Im using the Vortex Crosshair II 3-9x50. Recently tried getting cheap Nuprol 50mm honeycomb ARD, but the sizing is off and the inner diamter is too wide for the scope theading to screw on. Not sure which will fit, im having difficulties finding one, and realy dont way to pay £100+ on real steel ARD that might have larger than 6mm honeycomb. Anyone have recomendations?
