  1. Help! The tiny metal part in the middle of the pic broke off from somewhere, but can't for the life of me find out what it is. Any ideas anyone? Thanks, Pat.
  2. Hi Guys. After some thoughts on the air nozzle sticking in the hop unit on my AAP. Almost new AAP with a light bolt and adjustable trigger, but the nozzle was a little sticky before I changed the trigger and the bolt. Also, feeding issue, which was probably related to the nozzle getting stuck. Got a stronger nozzle return spring on the way, but surely it can't be that simple? Stock bucking, hop and air nozzle. Not short stroked. Thanks, Pat. IMG_8039.mov
  3. Great info - many thanks. Just to confirm, my tank is ali, is 2.5" diameter. Will see how it looks on it's 5 year birthday and then decide to replace, get it checked, or risk keeping on using it if it's still pristine until someone questions it or it gets to 10 years old, when I will get it checked - I'm guessing this could be normal practise for a lot of folk. I fill it myself with a stirrup pump as I like the exerice!
  4. Hi @Tommikka I have a 26CI bottle which has an ISO marking, a Rho gate TT thing and was born in August 2021. Will this need a check in August 2026 or it exempt (maybe) because of a) it's size and b) it's ISO marking? Thanks, Pat.
  5. Hi Guys. New to HPA - how tight does the top regulator (I guess this is low pressure regulator) need to be tightened onto the bottom regulator (I guess this is the high pressure regulator)? Hand tight? Thanks. Pat.
  6. Negative and Tactical Geordies. Managed to fix it myself though so all good now.
  7. Hi All, Looking for someone to who is actually willing to work on a Cybergun SCAR-L gearbox. Everyone I’ve asked so far refuses to work on them. It’s screaching at me. Thanks, Pat.
  8. Cheers Guys. Only wear the mask when I play indoors and I like to shoot and move a lot - just seem to get caught under the ear area quite a lot - must just be unlucky! Going to keep looking at a few masks such at the Virtue Extend and see what it's like. Other than that - having my hood up or a shemagh may be the way forward. Pat.
  9. Hi Guys, I've been using my DYE 4 for a few years now, but seem to be vulnerable just under the ears and on the jawline under the ears. Any other recommendations? Was thinking the DYE 5 as it's supposed to be slightly bigger. Thanks, Pat.
  10. Hi Guys. I'm struggling to find a polymer m-lok handguard around 9-10" long. Best I can find is the Novritsch one, although it's 11", it's cheap and decent quality. Anywhere else? Cheers, Pat.
  11. Thanks for the info - but it is the Polymer that I want and I much prefer the PDW stock. I love the front half of my SSR4 and the receiver, pistol grip and the sound of the M904G. A new polymer hand guard from Novvy is only 15 euros and I planned to fit a new barrel and bucking to the M904G anyway - if I add the Novvy barrel and a cheap 2" barrel extension, I have everything I need in a gun... for now. And for a bit more reference if anyone needs to know in future (google pointed me to this thread when I was making my enquiries), the outer barrel and barrel nut threads of the M904G are standard so easy to swap in the future if needed. The M904G barrel nut is a bit weird though (in a good way as it helps support the handrail) and needs a pin spanner to removed it. The second pic has the nut from the SSR4 screwed onto it for reference. Pat.
  12. Hey - what polymer guard is that that you re-fitted - it's just the right length that I'm looking for! Pat.
  13. Oops - yep - numbers all wrong. Meant M904G and M904L.
  14. Hi All. After reading all this, I’ve now got an M509G in the arsenal and am waiting for an M509L to come into stock somewhere! In the mean time and for reference, once the small un-windy hand guard bolt thing has been removed and the hand guard itself pulled off, other hand guards fit! The one from my SSR4 goes straight on ? Will look at the barrel nut and inner barrels soon and report back on what I find. Pat.
  15. Novvy guys have agreed to replace the receiver. Happy ending. Pat...
