  1. Yeah I just want it for a display cabinet so I won't be running around skirmishing with it but the fact that the stars logo instantly rubbed off the WE version is enough to put me off their products. The Airsoft store have offered me a TM Hi grade version in exchange at no extra charge so I'm gonna take it but like a few have suggested I'm going to protect the stars logo anyway with some clear nail polish...just in case. Side point, I should be getting my TM Sammy Edge, ICS MP5 and Umarex Hdx 68 shotgun all this coming weekend, it's gonna be like christmas 🙂 Shotty was bought early december, TMs an exchange and the mp5s a repair/rewire.
  2. Still in good nick then? Never rubbed off that's good how long you had it?
  3. Thanks for the replies chaps. Seems like Tokyo Marui wins. Does anyone know specifically about the stars logo on the Tokyo Marui one? I'll be devastated if it starts fading like it did with the WE one I had for a day. I've read online of some people applying nail polish over the stars logo on the WE version to protect it. Im thinking about searching through my misses' things to find some nail polish. Can't wait to explain its to protect my toy gun 😆
  4. Hi there I recently bought this WE Samurai Edge Stars Beretta https://www.defconairsoft.co.uk/product/m92-biohazard-virus-samurai-edge-black/ And within a day the Stars logo started rubbing off and fading away. I contacted the shop and they're happy to send me this Tokyo Marui one instead https://www.defconairsoft.co.uk/product/tokyo-marui-biohazard-samurai-edge-standard-gbb-pistol-hi-grade/ So I've said yes to the Tokyo Marui but it'll be my first Tokyo Marui gun and I was wondering has anyone had experience with both? Can I expect the stars logo to immediately start fading away on my Tokyo Marui one too? Granted I won't ever be airsofting with it it's going in a display cabinet but I may handle it from time to time and want a general idea of the build quality. Thanks a lot.
  5. Hi I recently received my ICS MP5 A4 and I love it except the handguard. It feels cheap flimsy and makes the gun feel like a child's toy. Which is annoying considering the rest of the gun is metal. Can anyone recommend a metal counter part? Or at least a more ruggid polymer handguard? Either of these two types specifically. But stronger. The pictures I sceenshotted are listed as plastic. Are offficial H&K ones good? Thanks again
  6. Okay bud, suppose I'll have to see what type it is when it arrives. Thanks 👍 Thanks for the detailed reply man, explained a lot and the video certianly helped. And I ordered the one I did thinking it would be straight forward to change out the stock switching between collapsed and fixed regularly. Hopefully I can take it to a local Airsoft shop if I really want to change it round. For now though I'm trying to replicate this as best I can so I'm happy with the fixed stock for now. I have a torch handguard coming too. Hopefully that's straightforward to change out.
  7. Hello airsofters I've got this MP5 on the way to me with a fixed stock https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-metal-mp5-mx5-a4-airsoft-gun-aeg And this collapsable stock https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-retractable-stock-mx5-inc-clip-replaces-mp18 My question is how easy is changing the stock and rewiring? I'm told the wiring is kept in the fixed stock. Does anyone have videos/links or info that might help me do it myself? Or am I going to have to take it to an airsoft shop to be rewired? Thanks again
  8. Can anyone with more knowlodge than me answer if this MP5 handguard https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/gp-handguard-for-mp5-with-cree-led-flashlight Will fit onto this mp5 https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-metal-mp5-mx5-a4-airsoft-gun-aeg Thanks
  9. For those interested, Im buzzing with the results thanks for the advice the 1200 grit sand paper worked perfectly. Anyone know a tip for the stickiness because of the Krylon paint? Or will it just go in time? Thanks
  10. Cheers boys yeah I used it sparingly. I've just got a couple of drips to contend with nothing major. I'll post the result in here when it's done. 🔫👍
  11. Nice one buddy. I'll grab some today and try it. Thanks 👍
  12. I've recently spray painted my Cybergun P90 and the end result is almost perfect ive just got a few paint drips to deal with. Does anyone have any suggestions for removing them or reducing them? Sandpaper seems to just scratch the s&*t out of my gun Thanks again boys
  13. Yeah they're not replicated on the other side. I'm thinking extra strong gorrila glue might be the way forward.. with zip ties for extra support.
  14. Hi thanks for the reply But how can I attach the rail to the p90 ?
  15. Afternoon chaps Can anyone recommend how I can go about adding a torch/flashlight attachment to the side of my Cybergun P90 that doesn't have a rail/picatinny. There's a handy picatinny rail on the other side which I'm going to use for a laser but I'm trying my best to replicate the Stargate SG-1 P90 and I'd really like to add a torch/flashlight to the rail-less side if possible. Any suggestions welcome.. best I can come up with is MacGyvrering it with zip ties and duct tape. thanks really appreciate it, absolute noob/rental here forgive me 😁
