  3. From a few years ago. https://www.popularairsoft.com/news/x9000-gun-sound-simulator-airsoft
  4. Got the email too. Gutted. Pretty sure there's a Chinese copy kicking about in the style of an m320.
  5. Ok, I've got to have one of these when they come out. Any ideas how much they'll cost? Actually, never mind....
  6. Thanks everybody for all the replies. One of the reasons I decided to look into the likes of UKAPA was my algorithm feeds me stuff like this... https://www.kentonline.co.uk/sittingbourne/news/i-can-sell-these-air-rifles-so-i-will-288287/ It's a shockingly bad piece of journalism with terminology like 'airshot guns' and 'plastic bullets' scattered throughout, and the shop owner's attitude is almost beyond belief. It's these sort of stories that make me think that perhaps sensible representation for the hobby might be a good thing.
  7. So, I'm considering joining UKAPU as I seem to be spending an ever increasing amount of time and money on the hobby and I'd like to see it continue. Just wondering if this is the only organization that represents our interests or are there others I should consider?
  8. Reckon I bought my first TM springer around 1993 too, pretty sure it was a Glock 17L. That Glock turned out to be a ‘gateway’ gun as shortly afterward I was on aeg’s and gas guns? Although being more of a collector I did manage a number of skirmishes at work which was a bit of a giggle. At the time I was working on a ship and we were able to black out and skirmish in areas of the vessel which weren’t in use. At the time we were all in our 20’s and didn’t take the job too seriously, face protection and eye protection wasn't really a consideration, right up until I got shot just below the eye. That was an oh shit moment as it could have resulted in a helicopter ride to hospital and being sacked too. Started wearing eye protection after that.
  9. Yeah, been there too. Caught one in a tiny gap between the top of the goggles and bottom of the baseball cap. At first I thought it was just the goggles fogging up...
  10. I’ve had success using Revision Bullet Ant goggles with prescription inserts. To improve airflow I removed the foam from inside the goggles and I’ve never had a problem with them fogging. I can thoroughly recommend a company called Reglaze My Specs to fit the prescription lenses to the inserts too.
