Hello, seen this conversation and it’s become relevant to me, wonder if anyone can help. I’m importing a handguard and magazines for a we msk and have to fill out a rif declaration form even though the parts I’m importing don’t constitute a rif. I don’t have ukara I have another defence for owning but there’s nowhere on the form to input that. As mentioned previously the form isn’t great and I have filled one out before if memory serves. Appreciate any help/clarification on the form

Selling Tokyo Marui G17 gen 3 with tmc 6354 replica holster and 4 magazines. Had this for a while now never had time to field it so has only been used for indoor larping. Magazines are possibly leaking, I don’t have gas to check this unfortunately. I don’t know the exact fps as I never took it to a site to chrono it, can’t imagine it being over 350 though. The pistol will move less in the holster with a surefire style x300 torch but it won’t fall out without one. Pistol has an aluminium slide extended mag release and magwell. All internals are stock. WE 888 (416) gbb that was converted to a mk18 and then a block 2. Mag is probably leaking, don’t have gas to test this. Npas required for skirmish. Had this for nearly 5 years never been skirmished been kept in storage. Apart from the seals and some surface rust everything mechanical is in good working order. Will ship with madbull mk18 rail, angled grip and Elcan replica with dr sight on top. Also has angry gun sf 216 flash hider, radian charging handle, magpul style ASAP, pts epg and more style stock. Selling a WE SCAR L (MK16) had this for a few years now but it’s been held in storage for most of that time and was never skirmished only used for back garden shooting. There was unfortunately a bit of damp in the storage unit so some of the parts have a little surface rusting but all still functioning mechanically. Selling as pictured with pts MREX rail, pts epg grip and extended barrel that I have scratched a little bit trying to remove. Magazine is possibly leaking, I don’t have gas to test this, it will also need an Npas as I never acquired one I don’t know what the fps is as I never took it to a site to chrono it but imagine it can be over 350 with the appropriate weather conditions. Would be a great project gun to have some fun with. Would potentially trade for a we msk or pts gbb Masada but would rather sell it. Open to offers and ask any questions. Thanks£250

Contrasting answers here. Interesting to hear you don’t need one to purchase as I thought you definitely did. Am I misunderstanding what you said there? Looking at the law it doesn’t say much about private sellers so do I need to go and get myself a defence before I sell (don’t really want to as that costs money hence why I’m not using them). I know whomever I sell to needs to give me their defence to purchase from me. As I understand I don’t need to own a UKARA or something in my name to sell. Is this correct? Thanks again everyone.

Thanks for the replies and feedback. Must apologise as I didn’t phrase my question properly. I’m aware of how the VCRA affects purchasing. I Should’ve asked if I personally need a defence to sell. I’ve never held a UKARA no. or anything as I never purchased the RIFs and one isn’t required to own them. Will that be a problem if I sell? or does VCRA only apply to purchasing. Thanks again

Hello, As the title says I’m wondering if I can legally sell RIFs without a defense. My dad left me some and I was thinking about selling as I’m not using them. Thanks for your time and appreciate any help you can give.
