    Is Rustoleum Nutmeg and Satin Nutmeg the same thing, or close enough..? Since the latter isn't sold in the UK AFAIK.

    Lonex hop rubber or Prometheus? Considering that the former is £4.50 latter $12.50 exc. shipping from eHobby & this is to put in future JG AUG. Want more accuracy but not aiming for full on DMR

    I have had some good results with the lonex 50 degree bucking so for £4.50 its worth a try.

    Personally i've found they were the only ones easy to find with gloves on. Both AR style mag releases and the standard pistol ones I have to look for till I have a memory for their location.

    I always sigh when that dude talks about FPS though I just translate that as "I want to increase the chance I can break the skin with my shots"

    I'll stick with my hk45 I think, hopefully a prototype too as the side view of the slide at 1 min 53 seems to show either atrocious casting or a crack in the slide

    Still love my HK45, think it would feel like betraying it to get another pistol. That mark on the slide does seem a bit suspect though.

    Opinions on JG AUGs? I've seen lots of things saying they're bad, but ok once upgraded? Also is it worth getting the A1 version, is the scope any good?

    Unless you specifically want an A1 get an A2. You can fit what you like to it then.

    I kind of wanted an A1 because I think it looks a lot better (and thought it'd fit loadouts better cos it doesn't look like just a civ variant...but ofc the Australians have upgraded their F88s a lot since they first adopted the AUG so the old style is obsolete now anyway)

    And the A1 is about £30 more and if the scope it a bit sh*t then would be a waste . Yeah I should get the A2

    A2 is a very very poor representation of any weapon produced by Styer/Thale unfortunetly. If you dont wear a face mask the scope on the A1 is just in the sweet spot. With a face mask its very awkward. It is slightly magnified which helps with picking stuff out.

    Regretting buying Bulle trousers now rather than Helikon Digital a Woodland ones. Would anyone be interested in them? I'm thinking £15 posted since they are £19 + £5 or so post new.

    well...got the user data error bollocks on my computer AGAIN. Ffs. Never bothered backing up data on the other account because 1) idk how 2) didn't think it would happen a second fckn time. Should never have bothered with a PC. Console gaming always been my thing and don't use computer for gaming anymore now anyway

    I don't think I can make a new admin account because I'd need admin permission to make it...and I don't think that will work because of the error

    The last time it happened it wouldn't recognise the password

    Even if that did work I've still basically lost all my data until I can get it fixed

    Its an issue with windows 7 - had it on the 2 pcs at home. Only way I have found to get back into an account is to do a system restore to a point slightly before.

    Yeah, but it's not like "chinese knock off" is it? It's all decent kit. When you take into account operational requirements there's only so many ways you can realistically skin that particular cat.

    I'll see, yeah the main post office is in town and I live close so might be able to pick it up in the morning. Actually have a RM parcel as well (probably that 5.11 belt) so need to go in anyway.

    Maintenance gas - are you supposed to actually use it, as in shoot BBs with it? Or just leave it in the magazine?

    if you're ordering direct from platatac then there's lead times on a lot of items, some stuff you'll have to wait for them to make.

    Few guys I know did a group order from Tyr Tactical and it took 6 months to ship!

    Power stroke more-helps preserve the release/catch. Replacing it should not be too much of a hassle,though I've yet to gut one but in general that part is easy enough to replace on pistols

    I think it's happened because I had a couple batteries in the case and they got stuck inside the mag well :| Noticed a rod has snapped which means it doesn't go back when cocked straight away (strangely touch the barrel and it does but not the safest thing to do) Hope it's this rod piece which is something I can replace but I knew the release lever itself would be easy to find.
