humans gonna human.

if there's one thing airsoft has given me an appreciation for it's events like this, it's hard enough to aim and get the first shot of when you know it's only pretend and there's no chance of you either dying from being too slow or getting done for murder for being too quick, let alone try any fancy bollocks.

tbh the cop did what i'd have done in that situation, i'm sure he has a family he'd quite like to go home to in the evening.

A while back there was a story on the news about some serial armed robbers who had been shot by police over in The US. One of the Mothers protesting had a sign that read "We shouldn't have to worry about our children being killed every time they rob a convenience store"

I had to double-check that it wasn't one of those Onion spoof pieces. Sadly it wasn't.

This mom was real though.

She really said that.

I'll source the video and translate it for you tomorrow morning.

Check out Donut Operator on utube. The guy breaks down all the US shooting vids and destroys the Whiney comments

My bad, it wasn't the mother but the aunt. Also the kid took 3 bullets (only one to the chest), not 4 as the first news reported.

In this short video she's sending a message to the cop.

"You are 28, you probably have kids, you can have economical problems and you can commit crimes (because of the situation)"

As if it is ok to rob people because you're having a bad time.

Yeah.

"you'll have nightmares about him, because you can shoot well, you have good aim and if you didn't want to kill my nephew, you could have aimed for the legs, not at the head and torso, you shot to kill..."

Yeah, right, as if he had plenty of time to draw, aim carefully and pull the trigger.

In other sections she says the kid was actually scared of guns and that he never broke the law despite his family members being criminals.

I get she's angry and wants "justice", I can totally understand that, but she doesn't understand for a second what really happens when bullets start flying.

@Rogerborg - Wait which one is photoshopped?....I jest, I could be wrong of course. Seemed to remember it being a woman and in a video clip.

always baffles me when people say "shoot them in the legs". even if you can land that shot which is not easy, the femoral artery says hello.
