Literally just watched Triple Frontier on Netflix which was released today. General gist is retired operators do one last mission: 7.5/10 from me.

Triple Frontier was really disappointing.
Avoid Mile 22 - excellent premise but goes South halfway through.
Polar is enjoyable, definitely.
Peppermint was surprisingly good.

Den of Thieves and 13 hours are very good too.

Siege of Jadotville was good, as was Jarhead.
Venom's worth a punt too.

Not a film, but new on Netflix.

Love, Death & Robots.

It's a series of unrelated animated short stories and it's fucking fantastic.

Really well directed and the visuals are stunning. The stories are really engaging and each one is like an entire movie plot.

It's incredibly 18+ rated ? lots of violence and (CGI) boobs... So don't watch it with your Gran :)

I ended up rewatching the first couple episodes of Altered Carbon on Netflix. Forgot how much I enjoyed it. Season 2 is coming out this year too!

Thanks for the suggestions ?

I have a 7 hour bus journey back home tomorrow so I'll be sure to download a few for the ride

Siege of Jadotville fucking rocks I loved that thanks for the reminder as for Love Death Robots never heard of it but it sounds right up my alley, loved Altered Carbon season 1 couldn't wait for season 2 so got the audio books a bit different to the tv show but just as engaging I did however find the sex scenes in the books a tad embarrassing to listen to I'm far from being a prude but having some bloke read a scene to me was erm uncomfortable now if it had been Emily Blunt...SHWING!!!

Again, not a film but I thoroughly enjoyed After life with Ricky gervais. Big mouth is hours of fun. If you had to go with a movie, 6 days is great
