No. It’s not an issue. 

But it people are fickle, and being shot at close range by a sniper will induce the placebo effect and they will probably call you up for shooting within your MED with a OP gun, and you shall be forever getting on the spot chrono’d.

Yea thought that might be the case. I got a vsr, it's probably around 300fps but I haven't been able to chronograph to see the joules yet, however I'm thinking more about being closer range than too far before I stick money into it

People don't complain for being shot by a springer pistol, why would they cry when shot by a "low power" bolt action?

The real question here is why hamper yourself with a bolt action and not take full advantage of running a long range high power setup?

Sniping within the range of regular assault rifles is just leaving you at a massive massive disadvantage

Agree with Adolf Hamster you're going to get sprayed mate upgrade and get some distance between you and my fellow assaulters
