    My mate said the WE feels a lot better than his new M&P, and he is a self confessed TM fanboy, so I was impressed he could actually admit it lol.

    TM slide feels gritty too, apparently, but the cycle speed is immense.

    WE drive me up the wall. Why would they make the charging handle for an m4 and xm177 different sizes just from a cost for production point of view if nothing else.

    Turns out that the forward assist and dust cover don't fit either so I have a spare m4 upper... DMR time I guess.

    The Pmags are identical internally, a magazine shell isn't going to effect anything.

    Flex, if you aren't comfortable faffing around inside your guns then a gas gun isn't for you.

    Upgrade parts to increase longevity aren't for the benefit of people who don't want to have to fit parts themselves, it's for the people with more money to burn who would rather just have to replace things less frequently.

    yeah^^ I will watch plenty of videos, but nothing compares to getting first hand experience. I reckon I will buy a cheap g39c and then use that until I get comfortable, I'm fine with aegs, always having to fix my mates guns but never really done anything to a gbb.

    You're probably better off getting a WE pistol first. Learning how that works fixing it when it breaks, taking it apart and putting it back together etc.

    Or was it called a boneless banquet? Can't even remember lol. The colonels bucket was the best cause it came with special fries but they got rid of it after a month.

    it was there is one called that yes lol i may try a bucket from a different kfc store..the one i went to ended up dripping with oil at the end which was just vomit inducing & their fries...why do they suck so hard

    Pretty much, yeah. None of us involved in it have mentioned it for ages.

    I think BAC shook people's faith in the concept of an independent system to the point where finding support for a new one just wouldn't be there.

    We're still sat on all the planning stuff though, so if there ever is an opportunity to implement an alternative system, we can just pick up from where we left off.

    from what I've seen of the 417, cool down doesn't look that bad, too early to draw any proper conclusions though

    Cool down being bad is effectively impossible when it has so much gas to get through in those massive magazines. I saw a test the other where they got through 120 shots on one gas fill. That's 5 freakin' BB reloads before re-gassing. It's immense as fook.

    Kick looked pretty decent too.

    But the real test is in the longevity of the parts, and how easy it is to get spares.

    Decided to switch my TM recoil mags and pmags from mid cap to real cap limits. Never used more than 2 mags (~200 rds) a game on the weekend. Will be a good preparation for going back to gbbrs too.

    Yeah it's a Daniel Defense mfr tube, very nice but getting a battery in will lead to a lot of swearing, should be worth it though :P

    My mate just bought a KWA USP, somehow they've managed to make it feel more like a toy than an all plastic TM.

    I thought their Sig felt crappy as well, plastic outer barrels for the lose. Only KWA pistol I've ever been impressed with was the M9 PTP

    Yeah Sam has had 2 of their glocks and both were very nice but the USP is picked up and just though 'is that it' ? The plastic feels like it's recycled from old milk bottles or something

    Bollocks, just bought a rail for my m4, completely forgetting about battery placement... Don't really want a peq either tbh. Anyone know if you can get a dbal battery box in the UK?
