Ukraine is well and truly fcuked if Russia would invade,an average of 70 billion euro every 3 years was stolen from the country and hidden in offshore accounts, and the government only has 400 million euro left which is nothing for a country of 40+ million people
Ukraine's interior minister earlier Friday said Russian navy troops were blocking access to the airports in Simferopol and Sevastopol, describing it as a "military invasion and occupation."
Reportedly Russian transport planes and APCs crossed peninsula (according to Associated Press) into Crimea already. Let's hope this doesn't result in a war but interested to see what is going on. Supposedly Russia has wanted that area for ages.
Lol'd hard at Russian Media trying to pass them off as ''Crimean Citizens self defense force'' Last time I checked Citizens of Ukraine could not Purchase PKMs and AK74Ms!
Yea Moscow are denying they're their troops, although all the gear matches and they've stripped off any insignia. The only peaceful solution I can see is splitting the country.
Interestingly a friend of mine was in Russia last week and apparently the Russians are quite scared as according to them an armed mob has just overthrown a democratic legitimate government
I instantly recognised them as Russians I mean I doubt the Ukrainians have AK-105s and just because they've taken insignia / flags off they think nobody will notice -_-
Some (seems like most) very stupid people on this earth. Even Vlad Putin being the stereotypical Russian I would never have expected these events would lead to an invasion!
