    Just found out someone (aged 25) in our office always watches TV with the subtitles on. General consensus is that this is a bit left-field.

    Straw poll so far suggests this is specific to the 22-30 age range.

    Subtitles on video games for me. I struggle to play a narrative based game without them - currently revisiting Fallout 4 after 6-7 years and it's the first thing in the options that I enabled. 

    TV/Movies, not so much.

    We do it all the time, with everything.
    It's because the dialogue level on a normal TV is shit - so if we have it at a volume where we can actually hear the dialogue, it disturbs the kids trying to get to sleep.
    It's also pretty cool when there's stuff you read that you wouldn't have a chance of hearing. For example, a character on screen answers the phone and you get to hear what the person on the other end is saying (sometimes).

    Bought three MWS mags from Japan on Friday. They just arrived, in perfect condition and at less than £38/mag incl. postage. I'm impressed!

    It'll get a sight, different stock and maybe an NPAS but that's it until something (inevitably) breaks.

    Good decision. In terms of internals, the only "upgrades" I would do are an NPAS and something like a sixG nub. They perform really well out of the box!

    Welcome to the club though. I have 2 myself (because I needed one for long gun, one for short gun!)

    Just tried using my current sling on the MP7. No amount of adjustment’s going to make it work.

    What actual sling is it? While I hate bungees with a passion, something like the PIG Ring Sling, Blackhawk sub-gun sling or the copies thereof (like the TMC GI style MP7 sling) would be my suggestion.

    Have a 2-point slingster thanks to a prior recommendation here. Just found there’s a 1-point version which could be the thing (albeit an expensive thing).

    The current 1-point is a cheap didn’t-know-any-better bungee that got swapped for the slingster on my 308, I was thinking of re-purposing but it doesn’t cut it.

    Will check those out @Lozart, I think it definitely needs to be a sub specific sling.

    The 2 point Slingster is really designed for longer guns, the single point might work but it could well still be too long.

    You could also look at the Magpul style slings though as they will adjust up pretty short.

    That depends, if you have one gun, that you won’t change for a long time. Pick n pluck, combined with plastidip or plasticote (not sur E what the correct name for the hardening product is) 

    if want to transport different guns, or change regularly- then is wave foam

    Thanks. Was about to go Nuprol PnP as PatrolBase have them on offer but I measured the car boot and it’s too long. At least now I know I need to find a 1m long case.

    Bugger. Was messing about with the pew yesterday morning and can’t remember if I released the pre-cocking before I put it away. Not gonna be back to it till late, fingers crossed it doesn’t permanently compress too much ?

    Ordering a kydex mag holster to attach to a belt - but do I want to attach it using a malice clip or combat loop? Is one better than the other?

    @Ryder777 sounds like he's ordering from Deadly Customs. The attachment options are Malice or Combat loop.

    As for Esstacs, WTF straps all the way.

    That said, my DC Baofeng holstery thing is on a combat loop and it hasn't come adrift for a while. It did when it was round at the side of my belt but since moving it to the back it seems to have settled down. Of course, malice clips do let you move from belt to molle a bit easier.

    Glad I decided to test the tracer I just bought, while it works just fine it doesn’t ‘wake up’ when you give it a shake.

    Got it off Amazon so it’s going back tomorrow … and a new one’s arriving tomorrow too :)

    @Madhouse to be honest I'd be looking at the good old ASG B&T tracer instead then. The on/off button is easily accessible from the outside (plus it really doesn't use much power anyway.

    @Lozart that would have made more sense but I seem to have opted for form over function!

    By the sound of it I may be in the market for another soon enough when this one inevitably breaks outside of its warranty period.

    That said I’ve literally only just picked this one up so it may be going back yet ?

    Turns out they're advertising it as being packaged with a Blaster M and sending it with an MS which doesn't have the shake feature. Decided to sack off that tracer and get something else instead, so sending the second one back too.
