Cheers @Adolf Hamster. My issue is I feel like the arp is just like every other gun I've owned. Regular and nothing special, hence why I want to try the mp9. Any other suggestions?
The ARP needs the drum, it really needs it, midcaps are hard to find and high caps are just shit.
I tried slinging the arp when sniping but it really is too annoying.
So the MP9 would be the one to go for.
I have settled on a AAP-01 with the folding stock, basically a MP9 but less bulky and less of a bitch to find mags for. Slung on a single point and held in place with a small elastic retention lanyard I made. This way it doesn't swing around and is still relatively easy to draw.

Are you thinking about AAP-01 or APC9? If the second one, my man Nick sells one right now. I don't really know the guy personally but he's my man because he has attention span of a cat and thus changes guns like gloves - already bought 2 guns from him, sold me newest ICS MP5 CES-P and new ICS PDW9. I would take that APC9 myself as well BUT I really can't afford to spend 340 on a toy right now (I'm not sure if I will have job after Christmas due to redundancies and lockdowns...)... that and an impulse buy of Ares SOC-AR second hand for half price xD
I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting link to trade...
If AAP-01 good luck getting second hand one, they sell within minutes from posting and shops run pre-orders for them. Just buy through your airsoft friends that still has UKARA, problem solved
The mp9 can be used as a primary, but you'll want quite the stock of mags and it wont be able to lay down the same volume as the arp.
