Hello all.

sadly can only run (i think) a 7.1 ish V battery in a normal P90 stock

i don't really want to run externally.

any ideas?

thanks

I runs this:

He also does quite possibly the best P90 single point sling I have used, Highly recommend:

sorry this is king arms.

i have a 11.1 but its way to "fat" to fit normally. hoping the extensions can have it all

im not sure on that. have been asking claude and google AI and both say different things. one says you MUST change the piston to a metal tooth one. other says a 11.1 volt bigger battery will be fine. i then ask whos better and they both disagree with eachother

I normally only use 11.1V batteries if a RIF has a MOSFET or ETU; otherwise, you risk premature wear on the trigger contacts due to arcing and other stuff.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Perun P90 MOSFET is listed as “mostly compatible but requires modification” for the King Arms and SSR90, which suggests there are some internal differences compared to a standard TM-spec P90 or direct clone. I don't have a KA P90 so I am unsure of the differences.

ChatGPT response: Most stock P90s, including King Arms variants, use traditional trigger contacts. An 11.1v battery increases electrical arcing and can wear or burn the trigger contacts over time. Community advice around P90s in general is pretty consistent: 11.1v is possible, but a MOSFET is strongly recommended for reliability and to prevent damaging the internals as much as possible.

seems like this could easily be the same cost as the gun was to begin with
