Gun picture thread

The mags aren't proprietary as I just stuck a random pmag in it and it worked fine. I haven't tried a bunch of mags yet but the supplied mag looks like a bog standard hicap painted silver.
It was hot out the box so I undertook quite an adventure to figure out how to get the thing apart. Getting to the spring turned out to be easy however getting the gearbox out is challenging as is getting access to the hop unit. The spring is proprietary and very short and I had to cut 4 rings off to get it around 330 fps on a .2g bb. Hop rubber is standard so I've stuck a quantum in it but the nub seems to be built into the adjustment arm. I'll see how it runs with just the quantum hop rubber and mess around with it if I need to use the quantum nub.
The inner barrel is full length so the option for setting it up as a DMR is pretty good. As BigAl mentioned there is no front sight but it does have a rear sight which might explain why the A team couldn't hit anything. Looking at images of the real thing shows that some did have it, others didn't and some had a completely different type of front sight and longer flash hider. I'm not that bothered as I'm probably going to stick a knock off 80's aimpoint on to it at some point.

*EDIT* It doesn't like "thick" magazines so proprietary as in it will take normal mags if you find ones that fit!

Ah, your is aeg
I’d assumed it was the gbbr variant which does have proprietary mags
My bad

Needed a m16a1 for a build so decided to pull my 653 apart and then realised the m16 donor was a airforce spec body.. , xm front set fitted and ended up with a lovely Gau5

My humble attempt at building my interpretation of the lone survivor operation redwing Danny Dietz M4

For the real life horrific loss of life event it was it has a lot of personal tie in to my life ref dates 2005 when I met my wife 28th June birthday date of our second son just weird anyone else have any coincidences like this ?

There are glaring bits and bobs that are not accurate but it’s not meant to be a clone build and I’m not a millionaire lol 😂

Donor rifle colt government marked M4 TM M4A1 MWS GBB cerekote finish
Double bell M203 short
Repro GWOT metal era birdcage muzzle device don’t recall brand
Working PEQ5 sourced by my son don’t know too much about it as he was super cagey on how much it cost him 🤯
FMA PEQ10 laser working
3D printed M203 drop grip credit to Davo on here for printing for me total legend 🫡
Laser etched reticle ACOG green solar illuminated
Period correct I think repro surefire torch with dual rear cap
Sobchak security LLC range sticker found them on that shop app they do some real cool range type stickers
Standard inner barrel and bucking
Angry gun super heavy recoil buffer
Waldo precision 140% recoil spring
Jaeger Precision stainless steel bolt carrier weight
Angry gun 400% nozzle return spring
Paint work done by myself multiple colours and brands used finished with Matt laquer to protect as much as possible

For me and my limitations both talent and financial I’m super proud probably my best build to date

And yeah she’s a BBG (big beautiful gun) and is heavy AF ! But I love her and to quite a well known YouTuber she be kickin ! 🫣

Shep

Had a P8 turn up today so thought I’d do a H&K pistol family group photo.

Top left to bottom:
KSC USP .45 Tactical
VFC VP9 Tactical (Crusader Steel Hi Sights)
SSX 23 (all the internal goodies, Silverback suppressor)
KSC USP .45 (non S7)
TM HK45 Tactical
KWA Mk23 (Cerekoted & laser engraved slide)
VFC P8A1
TM HK45 Tactical (Detonator Slide & sights, Creation Outer barrel)
KSC Mk23 Hardkick (non S7)
TM USP Compact
TM USP 9 (Guarder Steel slide & barrel)
VFC HK45CT

Only missing a USP Match, I’ve had 2 of them but foolishly sold them on.

My 1911 got a nice pair of wood grips for good behaviour

Just needs a nice Guarder slide and it'll be exactly where I want it.
