I am keeping it for now anyway. The new gearbox is a QC one, which makes tuning the power easier, even though the gearbox has to be out of the receiver to change the spring.
That isn't an unreasonable price for it. Production output was limited and they were very expensive.
However, is it a crazy price for a toy gun? Of course it is.
Extreme Airsoft have one of these at £224.99, so you are trying to sell a used gun of indeterminate vintage at 89% of retail.
A more sensible price, that somebody might actually pay you, would be around £155-£160.
Indeed. It was covered in mud and cycled at about 4rps; it has been thoroughly cleaned and has a new gearbox with a Perun Hybrid, a 31k brushless motor, a ZCI rotary hop, and a new barrel. I am just trying to work out the correct nozzle length for it. Everything apart from the nozzle came...
No pictures yet, but I bought a boneyard G&P M16VN for £90 today. It is currently in bits on the workbench awaiting reassembly with its new parts, all of which came out of my parts box.
