Used my GHK M4 for the first time on Sunday at Bush Valley and I've got to say thanks to those who recommended it. It's awesome the 38 round mags can be a pain but I learned to change out mags early before getting into trouble lol. You can feel it getting better the more you fire it. It was cold on Sunday and wss still shooting fine. Need a scope badly and more mags oh and lots more gas lol. I will definetly get an aeg at some point obviously another M4 but haven't even looked at them yet needs to be all metal I know that lol.

It would be worth a quick review of your experience there.
After playing my first woodland site I ordered a VisionKing scope; they are a good price, recommended by other members, have clear optics for the price, and enough magnification for spotting targets.

Get contacts. Been there tried prescription inserts and all it for me was fog. You will want to get your nearsightedness corrected, it makes a big difference out in the woodland and in the dark especially where you need to be able to see small movements. I use a 1.5-4x as well (Bushnell) which is a great way to spot camouflaged individuals lying in wait for me in the woodland, wouldn't be without it now (just wish it was lighter!)

I couldn't face it either, but they teach you how and I got used to it in the end. I can't stress enough how much better contacts are for this purpose, its the way to go the inserts are a disaster and I wasted a lot of money on prescription inserts trying to be able to see and getting nothing but fog. I even got some polycarbonate antifog specialist inserts for my locusts with a fan running on the top I fogged within 20 seconds, it doesn't work for me even a little bit.
If your optician says you cant have them, get a second opinion, some, like specsavers, don't maintain contracts with all the suppliers and may, as happened to me, say its impossible when they mean "its impossible for us".
