As the title says. Tell us your best/worst/just plain stupid quotes you have heard related to airsoft (online for example) or while you were airsofting.

 
Overheard someone giving this gem of "advice" to another player a while back:

"LiPos strip teeth off pistons, damage gears and cause general damage to your gun."

He wasn't talking about 11.1v LiPos either, just telling someone NiMhs were better...

 
My friend a little while after he started playing (and before he knew any better in fairness) posted the following review of his Vsr on a website.

Amazing rifle it's very light, comfortable, and quiet. The hop up is easily adjustable and the range on the rifle is on top level hop will easily reach 120 metres. I would suggest upgrading to a laylax VSR SP120 spring. However this will increase the sound of the shot so I would also upgrade with some dampers.

Got a really good one today. I ran round a corner and shot a player and got "give me a minute I am busy" to make matters worse I was so shocked I just mumbled "ok then" and wondered back round the corner. It must have taken a good 30 seconds to sink in what had just happened.

Had a guy with a GBB pistol (obviously a new player) trying to exchange fire with a few guys across the main concourse/briefing area at The Mall. I was next to him and he got mad, claiming his gun wasn't working and the guys at the shop had "sabotaged" it... I said they were out of range for a pistol, he replies nu-uh (sounded just like that) and points out that I can hit them with my pistol (note I was using an MP7 at the time, not a pistol...). He then says he will prove it, and fires at the back of his hand from about 4cm away, with no gloves on... There was a lot of cursing from him after that...

not airsoft but this did crack me up the other day when sitting in my mrs tattoo studio "my friend got her tattoo done with beginner needles, could i have those as well please"

now back to airsoft...

" would you consider swapping your (insert whatever gun im selling) for my BROKEN (whatever they are trying to shift)"

errm yes ill swap my perfectly operational gun for your broken one - absolute no brainer!
