Unanswered messages

Anyone else noticing that messages and questions go unanswered. Recently I have experienced this several times, sadly mostly by new members. Maybe it’s just me and nobody wants to communicate, but as it’s questions about items for sale I find it strange that I’am ignored.
Can’t see much point placing adverts if you’re not going to answer questions or offers.

Half the time email notifications don't seem to come through that you've been messaged or had a question posted to be fair. Have to rely on checking the site and seeing notifications

It can be tricky getting your head around how the forum works, re replies and even finding posts outside the "recent" threads. Being ignored is never fun though, had it myself

It does mean keeping an eye on your advert granted, but PM’s where is says read but not answered is annoying, and obviously off putting.

Could be technical issues, lack of understanding how the system works, or just plain ignorant people.
I'd be veering towards the latter

Sadly yes it is probably just ignorant people. I suspect if there not answering questions on sales posts they have sold item and just can’t be arsed to mark it sold. Should be a rule perhaps that if you do not answer questions within a week you get a mark against your rep. Three marks for it and your out, wield the Ban Hammer!
