Had a parcel from JK Army arrive in the UK today, cleared customs in 2 hours, it took 5 days for my parcel from Boomarms.

£33 order from Germany seems to have got caught in customs too… been sat in Langley for a few days now

BF seem to be taking ages to clear even small parcels, at one time small packages would clear customs in a few minutes. Don’t know if they are short staffed or have changed the way they work.

Nothing you can do but wait.

I waited 5 weeks for a slide to clear Chinese customs a couple of months ago. I’m sure the Chinese border force aren’t inspecting every parcel, but it’s looks like they’re inspecting a large number of an already large volume of parcels.

It's crazy it seemed to take ages with customs on the Hong Kong side but went straight from Langley to my local depot

Far as I know there is no customs inspection at the HK end it might just be delays because of back log of parcels.

Yeah, there’s evidently some tick box on the export paperwork that the Chinese are interested in, but the British side just don’t care about.

Since the HK customs was merged with the Chinese customs system, there are inspections. But I assume they’re just checking stuff that closely resembles illegal export items, as they’d have no interest in the monetary value of stuff.

Airsoft items are controlled exports from China, so they are potentially subject to checks.
