Here we have a “custom” airsoft rifle (my old room mate was tinkering with)

DMR m4

Ics metal m4 body 

Madbull noveske 20.5 rail

20inch matrix spr outer barrel silver

Magpul stock (modified, may need further modification to fit properly)

the internals have been tweaked, from what I can remember new  gears, new shims and upgraded motor

the gun may/not be working as it’s got an xt60 connector and I don’t have any batteries 

what would be a reasonable estimation for thus as a “project gun”

That depends on how far you want to go with it and how deep your pocket is....

Gun of indeterminate function is practically worthless especially if its got parts that you can't confirm. sub £100 just for the parts on it. I would either change the plug find out if it is working(fps) or part  it for a better return.
