Evening folks,

Just a quick question for you all and hopefully someone has the answer. Does anyone know if the 5KU railed Lower handguard can only be fitted with the railed top? I personally would prefer to keep the stock handguard piece on the top and then use the railed lower but wanted to check before I go buying bits. 
 

The RIF in question is the CYMA CM.040C (74M).

Which version?

Most of the ak lower handguard systems tend to be setup that you can run a standard upper handguard.

Oh yeah that'll be fine with the regular gas tube.

It may still require filing to fit, but thats the ak life....

Awesome, thanks a bunch! Filing will be no probs, I work on shitty motorhomes for a living where everyone is different to the next so I’m used to tinkering, or as I like to call it, bodging ?
