Functionally (head not heart) which performs better in your opinion, the Tm or the GHK

Hmm, hard question as my GHK isnt stock and has a new barrel and hop chamber/rubber. The MWS is stock. That being said, I think the GHK because of the kick and realism is much better than the MWS and when it was stock it was just as good anyway. The MWS is excellent straight out of the box but if I had to choose I would go for my GHK every time. Though it will be interesting to see what TMs AKM is going to be like - I will probably buy one.
I also prefer the GHK because its a lot simpler to work on the MWS I haven't dared take apart yet.
A better comparison would be the GHK M4 to the MWS, not my AKM

The TM MWS is very easy to take apart IMO, unless you want to get to the hop rubber than can be challenging.
Even the trigger box strips down pretty easy, Eagle 6 has some very good tutorial videos on how to do it.

I'll second that, and I'd probably add that the TM is suprisingly low maintenance in the scheme of things too, but as mentioned the recoil is a little sharper and the trigger feels better in the ghk...
just food for thought anyway. I don't think either are bad rifles at all and are very reliable really.

Its easy to take apart but my GHK AKM is much much much easier. Thats what I was saying

Fair enough, thankyou for the info. I'm tempted by an mws/GHK m4 for comp shooting but appreciate not many would have both to make a direct comparison. This has been helpful
