Hi all, I've been having trouble fitting the ASG recommended 9.9V life battery inside my scorpion evo. I've done it enough times now where it doesn't take too long, but all my batteries are getting scratched by the metal casing when I insert the battery/remove it. Has anyone had any luck finding a peq box that will fit these batteries. I've provided a link just in case.

If anyone knows of a solution that doesn't involve a peq box or just gaffer taping my batteries to the handguard please do let me know. It's the shorty cqb scorpion evo.

I feel your pain, I upgraded my spring and spring guide out of the box so it was shooting 1j+ so I could use a 11.1v battery under warranty. I stupidly a similr shaped battery thinking it would be fine

But I have been told on the FB owners group that the best shaped battery is the nuprol slim and based on my own struggled with my turnigy ones 1 solid long bar would be a piece of cake compared to lining everything up and hoping you don't pinch a wire.

But you'd need to upgrade to a m95 mil spec spring and the ball bearing spring guide to run a 11.1v under warranty.

I literally had a whole damn saga with mine man. i have the carbine version. Got it and the hop up was upside down due to the inner barrel being able to be rotated if not being treated carefully. wish i knew how to fix that. but yeah I'm using an m95 spring and the spring guide too and im on the 9.9v. The box on mine says that you have to use an m120 spring to use the 11.1 and that has would fire at way over 350. or am i mistaken and its over 1j is the 11.1. becuse i used an 11.1 just as a test and the trigger response and fire rate was amazing, not as much on the 9.9.

Is your spring the "milspec" m95?

asg warranty requirements are 9.9v for 1j or less and for 1.1j+ 11.1v Lipo. I think your maybe getting confused with it saying the warranty only cover UP TO a m120 but it has been a while since I read the manual.

ahhh i see, this makes way more sense.  what about between 1 and 1.1j ?? The spring i got is the ASG spring, thought that would be the best thing to do obviously considering the gun is asg. here it is :

it says military specification on the description now ive literally just seen that. reckon i should get that slim stick 11.1 ??
