How many guns ?

I must be a rare airsofter because I don't want a big collection.

Main, a spare and couple of pistols is more than enough for me.

You make me feel like an underachiever I only been playing for less than a year and only have an AEG and pistol, think I need to start buying more ha ha

Don't stop on my account!

Only about 7 of the ones I own are serious skirmishing guns . Unless I'm holding a springer pistol game then there's quite a few I have the option of. A few of the springers are collectibles and a few collectible gas guns

Same as me bud, only ever had two primary's and a pistol or two and that's it. One in, one out is how I work.

I'm with you on this. Like I said earlier in the thread, 4 will be my limit. Certainly seems like a rare breed, hahaha.

I think at most I had four at one point but two quickly got sold on to fund my love of ranger green gucci stuff.

We'll see how long that lasts :D:D:D:D ;)

Honestly, I can pretty much guarantee it unless someone comes out with a shit hot GBB M41A or GBB Morita Mk1. Then I may be tempted.

AEG's don't excite me at all.

I've just been thinking I need to update the gun list on my profile and found myself thinking How many ? ! Now I know the answer to the question 'how many guns do you need' is the same as for guitars......'just one more' but my arsenal now contains : Scar, MP5, XR5, Steyr, AK , GBB L85 and G36, L96 , G18, 1943 spec 1911 and a newly acquired 1911 MEU

Do I have an addiction ? How many is actually too many ?
too many? Not such thing as too many

Also I ahve 8 soon to be 9 rifles.

And and 10 pistols.

Doesn't matter what it is a copy of it is just a bb flinger.  As long as mine works the best it possibly can then why do I need anymore is my philosophy.

Don't need ten guns just the "best gun"

I think 96 was the last count but some have come and gone since September when my missus last counted

not trying to put down your philosophy, but to propose an alternative point of view that if everyone followed the line of what made the best bb flinger we'd end up with smaller versions of paintball markers. or at the very least everyone running hpa'd ar platforms.

that's the thing i love about airsoft- the variety, someone doing something different in this hobby is what makes it refreshing and interesting for me.

Oh I do different trust me.

The best can still be unique, my Sig552 is very unique.

Not everybody would have the same best though because we all want different things out of our toys. If you want all out perfomance and reliability out of an AEG that comes in at a heavy price. That is I suppose my difference, I will spend as much time, effort and cash on one gun as others will building their collection.

it's a fair point, it's interesting having to manage that balance between performance and variety, i know it myself having a collection that extends from boring high performers to exotic and not really that good to shoot.

of course you pull the exotic gun out and get dissappointed because it's just not as good to fight with as the boring one.
